Basics

Mission – Our mission is to eradicate sexual taboos and dismantle the weaponization of sex. We aim to combat the use of fear, shame, and hate related to sex, which has severe consequences and impacts various aspects of society.
Vision –
Our vision is to create a world where instances of domestic violence, rape, suicide, unintended pregnancy, sex-based hate and bigotry, as well as prude/slut-shaming and sex-related violence are effectively reduced.
Goals –
Our goals include improving public and personal safety and health, promoting self and healthcare awareness, advocating for better laws that protect individuals, enhancing freedom and quality of life, and fostering a better understanding of sex and relationships.
Purpose –
We recognize the profound connection between sex and various aspects of daily life, such as abortion and mass shootings. By addressing the taboos and misconceptions surrounding sex, we aim to prevent violent actions and promote education based on researched facts.

Sexess is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Our mission is to empower survivors and prevent future abuse through education and advocacy.

Areas of Action -Advocacy, Prevention, Research, Education, Direct Victim Services
• Health and Human Services - Trauma Coaching, Safe Stays, Moving Expenses, Legal Fees, Suicide Prevention, and Unintended Pregnancy Resources
• Public Safety - Crime Prevention/Reduction, Victim Resources
• Education - Adult Sex Education topics - better sex, consent, and understanding bodies

Theme - Be like Betty and Ruth! Fight abuse with the power of a fun education!
Betty White was against sexism, racism, and cruelty, but also spoke in innuendo and flat-out dirty!

Dr. Ruth was very controversial when she openly talked about sex but believed proper sex education was the key to many issues!

Messages -
Recovery - No shame or guilt to the victim, separating you from the incident (you are not wrong, gross, devalued), empowerment and self-image, reconnecting to your body in healthy ways, rediscovering your sassy sexy self for your future love life,
you can have an awesome life so don't quit!!

Prevention - Education, communication, consent, anatomy and physiology, awareness, and calling out bad behavior!
Sexess supports survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse through Prevention, Recovery, and Research. We provide support and financial assistance to victims of sex crimes and domestic violence in Spokane County. Our revenue is generated by sensual training and coaching on various topics to a global audience.

Some may not understand our unconventional tactics but the internalization of shame and guilt, often felt after an incident profoundly affects self-esteem, self-image, and other perceptions - including future relationships and family life. Finding acceptance and value in yourself and your sexuality is essential to living a full life!

Plus, accurate education brings understanding to consent, anatomy, and physiology, and teaches skills and techniques that can prevent abuse!

As founders of Sexess, our personal experiences have shaped our mission. We have endured abuse, including childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and sexual harassment. These experiences motivate us to provide the support we needed. Unfortunately, we have seen how few individuals receive the assistance they need to escape danger. This strengthens our determination to make a difference. At Sexess, our commitment is to ensure that victims have access to the help and support they deserve.

Education

Is this real?

Throughout history, the study of human sexuality has been important. Today, contemporary studies aim to debunk misconceptions and societal taboos that contribute to harmful stereotypes and victim-blaming.
It's concerning that some legislators still impose taxes based on false beliefs, such as the notion that tampons cause orgasms, highlighting the need for adult sex education.
There are numerous professional organizations and research institutions dedicated to comprehending and promoting education on human sexuality. Some of these include the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, & Therapists (AASECT), the European Society of Sexual Medicine (ESSM), and the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction.
